PS2: I'm not a Spectre expert at all and just accumulated this info over the past week of trying AM out, but I have seen some questions coming up about the Arena Master and thought I could write a few words about it. BUT do not unsocket the Desecrate gem and your Raise Spectre gem simultaneously, as this will reset the corpse table to default and you'll have to get the original bodies again (which is not possible for Arena Masters unless you still have Drox influence on your Atlas). Just use a Desecrate gem whilst raising them for the first time and it will "safe" the corpses of your previously raised spectres in its corpse table, so you can comfortably cast desecrate in your hideout later and raise your Spectres there. This buff cycle is reset when changing zones tho, so I only use 1 Arena Master in total.Įxtra tip: In case you didn't know it - you don't have to go to a Drox map every time you need to raise your spectres/Arena Masters/etc. You might be able to summon another Aren Master exactly 4 seconds after the first one cast his buff, to have an almost overlapping buff effect. With BM they cast it very reliably every 8 seconds, also during battle. Blood magic is recommended as they seem to use mana to cast it (the cast frequency went down for me once I removed the BM gem from my Spectre chain). You might be able to increase it with an inc duration gem, but I haven't tested that. The buff is cast very reliably every 8 seconds and lasts for ~3.5 seconds. The effect radius is hard to make out as they follow you around, but it's pretty big, almost a screen wide I'd say. The Buff: Once Arena Masters bang their shield they apply a buff to nearby allies that grants +40% increased attack, movement and cast speed, which is obv a huge boost to bost dps, clearspeed and movability. PS: Please note that there is also a "Arena Champion" which is not the same thing and doesn't apply any buffs. For me they are pretty common and appear here and there in almost every Drox map I've ran. Arena Masters step out of the portals in maps that are influence by Drox, The Warlord (yellow influence).
